Do you know how to play chess?

1. Pawn: Moves forward one square, captures diagonally, and has the option to move two squares on its first move.
2. Rook: Moves horizontally or vertically any number of squares.
3. Knight: Moves in an L-shape, jumping over other pieces.
4. Bishop: Moves diagonally any number of squares.
5. Queen: Combines the movement of the rook and the bishop, able to move horizontally, vertically, and diagonally.
6. King: Moves one square in any direction.

Amazing advice. I'm fairly good at chess and it frustrates me so much when new players get locked into memorizing openings.
