how can I add a second monitor without being detected in multiple display check?

I saw it on someone's computer. He'd connected a second monitor. but when I tried to detect it in multiple display setting, it did not show the second monitor. I also checked it in "Project" section by pressing Windows+P , again it showed " PC Only". The second monitor was there and working, but was kind of hidden and not detectable.
How could he do it? is it by using an passive VGA splitter? or is there a program to be installed?

Just to confirm that you are using a desktop and your second screen is working not blank and black, right? So, is your second screen mirroring the first screen instead of extend?
You can try connect the two screen together in different order or separately to check if works well or has same situation. Please reply to me, it’s important to solve the problem.

The reason maybe the desktop or cable or monitor.
The fact that it is normal to connect more than 2 Screens to 1 PC. It depends on how much monitors your Graphic Card or Core GPU inside CPU like Intel UHD750 or AMD Vega 11 supports.

Firstly, you have to install and update the latest graphic driver.
Use win+X→Device Manager→display adaptor, you will know your GPU belongs to which (AMD/Intel/Nvidia), download the driver from their official website, please.

Secondly, you can link the monitor to the port (HDMI, DP, VGA, DVI) by cable accordingly on your motherboard or Graphic card. So you should check the quality of the cable, one screen one cable.
Note that it’s likely for certain ports on the devices themselves don’t work properly, please take a little time to find out. Act with caution and slight strength to prevent device damage.

But eventually that is the error which needs to be fixed acc to windows

yes, I do understand but there is not anything u can do to make it like that. According to Microsoft, it's an error and it needs to be fixed. In some windows due to some issues, it occurs according to them.

well i know your question but as u can say its not the other monitor u need to connect to your pc its a alternative device that u should need to connect for the different display of it u can find it on amazon if u want

watch some tutorlials bro there are alot of good videos explaining how to do it.

It's on display seeting you should change setting show your prefer monitor
