my favourite way to counter master in low elo was just pick warwick, warwick is reaaally easy to play and when master goes into you, you click e, and when he goes out you use e again and it stuns him so you can heal up and attack him

- Crowd Control (CC):
- Master Yi is highly vulnerable to crowd control. Champions with stuns, snares, or other forms of hard CC can interrupt his Meditate (W) and prevent him from dealing damage. Coordinate with your team to use CC effectively during team fights.
- Invade and Deny Farm:
- Master Yi relies on farming the jungle to reach his power spikes. If you have a strong early-game jungler, consider invading his jungle to disrupt his farm and delay his itemization.
- Ward Objectives:
- Master Yi excels at taking down objectives like Dragon and Baron. Ward these areas to have vision and be prepared to contest or collapse on him if he attempts to solo these objectives.
- Build Grievous Wounds:
- Master Yi's Meditate (W) can heal him significantly. Building items with Grievous Wounds, such as Executioner's Calling or Bramble Vest, can reduce his healing and make him more vulnerable in fights.
- Kite and Peel:
- Master Yi thrives on getting into the midst of fights and dealing damage. Champions with kiting abilities and strong peel can make it difficult for him to stick to targets. Consider champions with slows, stuns, or knockbacks to create distance.
- Positioning in Team Fights:
- As a squishy target, Master Yi is susceptible to burst damage. Position yourself in a way that allows your team to focus him quickly when he engages. Assassins or burst mages can eliminate him before he becomes a significant threat.
- Jungle Warding:
- Place deep wards in the enemy jungle to track Master Yi's movements. Knowing his location allows your team to make informed decisions and avoid unnecessary engagements when he's nearby.
- Coordinate Exhausts:
- If you have a support with the Exhaust summoner spell, coordinate its use during team fights when Master Yi engages. Exhaust significantly reduces his damage output, making it easier for your team to handle him.
- Build Tankiness:
- Building some tankiness on your team can help absorb Master Yi's damage. Armor items like Thornmail or Randuin's Omen can reduce his effectiveness in extended fights.
- Communicate and Coordinate:
- Communication is key. Make sure to communicate with your team about Master Yi's whereabouts, his itemization, and coordinate your efforts to shut him down in team fights.
