How to survive zombie apocalypse?

If the zombies are the slow and rooten type , maybe we could survive, if we always walked with care knowing escape routes, because the greatest problems would be the number of zombies ( they could surround us ) and or lack of attention
i can run and walk but im not in a good condition yet, so i would probably, get a lot of quality food at the nearest groceries stores and fitness shops (supermakets would be crowded i think ) , reinforce the house dors and windows then began to train a little so that when i really have to survival ( no easy food , water ... have to fight ... ) i could have a body that doenst fail for it ... train some combat or wepons too (i have a katana(rusty katana haha ) and some knifes that i collect ) ( i know that would be really hard alone but what else could i do ... i didint train that before )
but that would be a really slow process, i shouldnt overdo it because maybe someone or something get into the house and i would need to run, so i would go slow and steady becoming better ,as much as possible while i still have food and water ...

i would try it too but have to train for that ( maybe knife at the begining, only train with a katana( its kinda heavy and becomes heavier while u keep using and u begin to be tired ) )

just run to the nearest wallmart and barricate it
get a zone where you find it comfortable like bathroom , dont make noise and stay there for a couple hours , then take some food, and go to other site, i know too much because of the films i have already see a couple of them was like i say it to you.

Gather any food, weapons and tools that could help you. Locate a small town or village kill all the existing zombies in said town or village, start off with making 1 house into shelter and barricade the whole thing and then slowly start closing off the town and live there. If you find any survivors dont forget to team up.
Well, it's surviving the zombie apocalypse not living in the zombie apocalypse. So you should just think about things that will keep you safe and lets you survive longer. The essentials would be to: stack on food (a lot of canned food) and water first, get some weapons melee and long-range, try to escape to a more urban area (fewer people = less zombie), barricade your property for safety, make your own farm since the food gonna expire and just live there. Also, have some sort of vehicle, that should help
