-Following count
-Photo Engagement
-Post Count
I will try to keep the answer as concise as possible. If the username is like cjsdfk8349349 then there is high probability that it’s a fake account. 99% of the time if there is no profile picture it’s a fake account, however, these days fake accounts do have profile pictures as it is really easy with bot programs to upload profile pictures to fake account.
If the ratio of followers/following is low there is a high possibility it’s a fake account. (Let’s say 30 followers and 2k following) (This is not a sure way as people use the Follow/Unfollow method to gain followers).
There is a high possibility that the account is fake if it has 2k followers and gets only 1 like in the photos. (Engagement is the easiest way to find out if the account is fake)(Keep in mind some people do buy fake followers and their engagement will be low which doesn’t mean their account is fake). As you go through different profiles you will gain the skill of finding out if a profile is fake.
If the account has only like 2 posts in a year but follows you out of the blue it’s a fake account.
PS: If you feel that the profile is fake, it most probably is. (All the get free followers accounts are fake)
