Let's discuss internet ping and speed

How is ping related to download/upload Speed, does Low ping means Fast internet?
To my mind, ıt isn't. Ping shows you latency, not bandwidth. The two are connected when you talk about the tcp bandwidth delay product and window sizing.
What do you guys think?

If your ping value is low, you will play the game faster and healthier, reducing it and increasing it depends on your service provider.

upload speed is very important in any shooting games for your shots to be registered. else you'll realize you shot the first shot and yet you're the one who died first.

You can have a 100/kbs bandwidth and a 1ms ping with a computer at your house and you can have 1/GBs bandwith and still have 400 ms ping with an asian serve.

Ping simply speaking if more related to distance than speed. It is the time from X to go to Y.

Also, ping is not limited to "internet". Even when you type something in your keyboard there is a 'ping value' between the time you typed, the time your keyboard sent the info you typed to your mobo, the time mobo/cpu take to send that info to your monitor.

Nooo those two are not related. You can have high speed with low/high ping. Ping means how fast can you get the data and d- speed means how fast can you download that data

Ping is related to the internet route, the internet can be fast, but if you access a foreign server the ping goes up exactly because the route is distant, so the response is slower.

this is variable, it depends on many things, like the game server, the location where you are playing from and your internet, for example, if you are in the united states and you are going to play on a server in asia your ping will be higher for having a distance great, if your internet has more mbs it will have less delay in the case of smaller ping but it will still be high, i live in brazil and use a program to connect networks from other servers outside the country, this makes me connect to a network here in my country and this network leads to the other country making my ping less

Ping is your connection to the server provider. The further away you are from the servers, regardless of your internet speed, the worse your ping will be.
