i recently start playing Minecraft but as due to new games people are losing interest in old games and moving on to new games therefore the amount of players are decreasing but still there's a few left who still love to play Minecraft

It always depends on how you promote your server, the more people you have playing, the more they will stay and attract others, that's the general rule for Minecraft. And yes, there is still al lot of people playing it, however an RPG might not be the best to start a server since it mostly does not like to the average player.
