Below is the official guide to playing Irelia as Mid or Top on Summoner's Rift in 2023. Irelia is a swordsmanship and skill champion with a variety of damage and control abilities.



1. Item Build:



Start with Doran's Sword and Health Potion or Doran's Shield if facing high damage opponents or AP champions.

For your first core item, build Blade of the Ruined King (BotRK). This is important equipment for Irelia to provide damage and the ability to save herself.

Next, craft the Sterak Claw to increase Irelia's strength and survivability.
