There was a time when I would say I prefer cats because they’re easier. You don’t have to walk them; their poo is contained; they don’t need much in the way of training. Give them food and water, keep their litter clean and provide a warm lap - piece of cake.

Cats are assholes speaking from experience, get a dog and train him properly, dogs behavior will be whatever you want it to be.
