I think you should choose a dog if you want a companion on a daily basis, but the responsibility is great and as if you had a child at home, the cat practically takes care of itself, you don't have to worry so much

I prefer dogs, there are some cats that come into my house and they are too dirty without offending those who have cats

i have an Cat and he is prety quiet, i prefer cats now, but i grow up with dogs mostly, crazy lazy and funny dogs

idk it kind of depends on ur house if u got a small one a cat is still alright but both are fine
