When a game has reached the mainstream status, it's bound to have many haters, whether they dislike some parts of the game, or just blindly hate it without any clear reason.

They kept hating on Genshin Impact because it is a “pay-to-win” game. This means that if players are willing to purchase certain items with real money, they can gain an advantage in the game. This makes it difficult for players who do not have a lot of money to progress in the game, and has caused some people to perceive the game as unfair.

This happens in all games. Haters just have nothing better to do.
If you don't like the game, just don't play it.
There are people who don't know how to make constructive criticism, like for example more ways to multiplayer, and now they are launching more multiplayer events. With time they improve. The game itself is lovely and very good.

The community can end up being pretty toxic though sometimes, as seen from the anniversary issues but honestly me personally didn't really care about anniversary rewards too much .

The game is alright but it gets boring at some point. The only exciting thing is the gacha aspect but even so as a F2P player you can't get anything.. The story is good but it takes way too much time to come out.
I don't think genshin impact being pay to win is as problematic as people think it is, you can just make your own way people are just embittered for nothing

I guess its not that good game, I wont be addicted to it and I guess it was only popular due to the characters in it.
