Simple, its the hate bandwagon. People will always find a way to hate on something and people who cant think for themselves will always follow the latest hate trend to feel like they belong somewhere

One of them is that it is basically justa big grindfest. Most of my cousins play the game and when I overhear them it's just “Hey do you want to grind?” or “I really need to grind to get this artifact” I played the game myself for a few days and I hate it with a passion. Also, the gatcha mechanic doesnt help anything

A lot of hate comes because of the unethical practices of the company behind genshin. But I agree with you, sometimes people just get on a hating bandwagon because they think its cool haha
