If you do not run your OS (Windows, linux, etc) on a SSD, I strongly advise you to do so. I put one on my old laptop and it gave it a new life. It took over 5 minutes to start it before, but with the SSD installed, it take less than 40 seconds. But, gaming wise, it will only improve loading time.
