1.Minimap awareness:

The minimap is one of the most underused tools in Valorant. Learning how to take advantage of the minimap can easily win you rounds.

The minimap will show the location of enemies whenever they are encountered by your teammates.

Even if your team refuses to communicate, you can still know the location of your enemy and plan your move accordingly.

When using abilities such as smoke, use the minimap; you will be able to clearly see the smokes in the minimap, making it easy to perfectly smoke the points.

Make it a habit to quickly look at the minimap and learn the state of the round, whether you need to rotate or stay in your bomb site.

2.Aiming/crosshair placement:

Aiming in Valorant is mostly done by crosshair placement.

Crosshair placement is one of the most important skills to have in Valorant.

Always aim at head level; crosshair placement is when you place the crosshair where you expect the enemy to come from.

While raw aim and good mechanics can get you flashy kills, it is the most inefficient way to aim in Valorant.

Always make sure to have the best crosshair placement, this is the easiest and most efficient way to get kills in Valorant.

3.Crossfire / Trading:

Crossfire is when you and your teammates are holding the same angle but from different positions.

The players play in the opposite direction and hold the same angle. This will force the enemy to clear both angles, which is almost impossible, ensuring an easy kill for your team.

While holding a crossfire, if your enemy has managed to eliminate your teammate, you will have enough time to easily get a kill on the enemy; this is called trading.

Trading is when you even out the kills by eliminating the enemy who killed your teammate.

4.Economy:

To understand the economy in Valorant, you must first know the credit system. Credits are the currency used in a game of Valorant to buy weapons and abilities.

Every player starts with 800 credits.

You will receive 200 credits whenever you kill an enemy.

Planting a spike will earn you and your team 300 credits.

Winning a round grants 3000 credits.

You will also gain credits when you lose a round.

One round loss will grant you 1900 credits.

Two round losses in a row will grant you 2400 credits.

Three round losses in a row will grant you 2900 credits.

Learn to manage your credits properly; overspending your credits will put you at a disadvantage in the next round, and not spending enough might lose you the current round.

5.Learn from the guides:

The best way to improve at Valorant is to constantly practice the game and learn from the guides.

Learn from the guides and implement the knowledge you gained into your games. You will see a massive improvement in your rank and gameplay.
